I´m participating of the “Gender Equity and Feminism” art competition held by the Community Art Channel.

These works were developed during an art residency I had the pleasure to be part of , back in 2021.
The theme of my research was the soul , what is shoul , what we feel as soul .. what are the conjunct of beliefs that form what we call soul. The fragments that make us who we are.
We women recently can experience some liberty and rights, far from equality still. But in history, till not very long ago, women were considered to not have a soul.
My work reflects these feelings of women not being able to be a whole person because we still are seen as objects and property.
