Interesso-me especialmente pelo universo feminino, entendido não como representação literal, mas como território simbólico, sensível e em constante transformação. As figuras que habitam minhas obras frequentemente se encontram em estados de suspensão, deslocamento ou equilíbrio instável, evocando tensões entre presença e ausência, controle e entrega, realidade e projeção.

O espaço urbano surge como cenário recorrente — não como registro objetivo, mas como campo psicológico e poético, onde elementos cotidianos se reorganizam em narrativas oníricas. A presença de figuras circenses reforça essa dimensão de transitoriedade e risco, sugerindo uma existência marcada por deslocamentos internos e pela busca de sentido.

Trabalho com técnicas mistas, acrílica e óleo, explorando camadas, transparências e contrastes como forma de construir atmosferas que ampliam o caráter simbólico das imagens. Meu interesse reside na criação de obras que não se esgotam na imagem imediata, mas que convidam à contemplação e à construção de significados múltiplos.

My artistic practice develops from a contemporary post-symbolist approach, through which I investigate subjective dimensions of human experience by creating images that move between the real and the imagined.

I am particularly interested in the feminine universe, understood not as a literal representation, but as a symbolic and sensitive territory in constant transformation. The figures that inhabit my work are often suspended, displaced, or in states of unstable balance, evoking tensions between presence and absence, control and surrender, reality and projection.

The urban space appears as a recurring setting — not as an objective depiction, but as a psychological and poetic field, where everyday elements are reconfigured into dreamlike narratives. The presence of circus-like figures reinforces this sense of transience and risk, suggesting an existence shaped by inner displacements and a continuous search for meaning.

I work with mixed media, acrylic, and oil, exploring layers, transparencies, and contrasts as a way of constructing atmospheres that expand the symbolic nature of the images. My interest lies in creating works that are not exhausted by their immediate appearance, but instead invite contemplation and the unfolding of multiple meanings.

Carolina Saidenberg é artista visual paulistana. Iniciou sua formação ainda na infância, sob orientação de seu pai, o artista visual Luiz Saidenberg, e aos 11 anos começou a pintar a óleo com Lydia Lantery Esquivel.

É bacharel em Artes e pós-graduada em Design pela Universidade de Belas Artes de São Paulo, com especializações no Istituto Marangoni e no Istituto di Moda di Burgo, em Milão.

Com mais de 26 anos de atuação na área criativa, dedica-se integralmente às artes desde 2012. Realizou nove exposições individuais e participou de diversas mostras no Brasil e no exterior. Suas obras integram coleções particulares em diferentes países.

Carolina Saidenberg is a São Paulo–based visual artist. She began her artistic training in early childhood under the guidance of her father, artist Luiz Saidenberg, and started oil painting at the age of 11 with Lydia Lantery Esquivel.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and a postgraduate degree in Design from Belas Artes University in São Paulo, with further studies at Istituto Marangoni and Istituto di Moda di Burgo in Milan.

With over 26 years of experience in the creative field, she has been fully dedicated to her artistic practice since 2012. She has held nine solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group shows in Brazil and internationally. Her works are part of private collections across several countries.
